Maybe it's because the weather has been so gray today, I'm in the mood for gray!
Like a typical New Yorker, I can't count the days I ended up wearing black from head to toe.... different outfits and different combinations, but all black! Today, I decided to change it up a little, and dedicate it to gray. I know I know, gray is like a cousin to black, a lot of people consider the two colors in the same category... but gray definitely deserves it's own place. From a light ash gray to a deep charcoal gray, it comes in so many different shades. It's a color that is solid enough to stand on it's own , but it can also be neutral and soft as a background, perfectly fun to combine with other colors!!
I have a couple of go-see's today, I was told to dress business casual and yet model chic. This is the look I put together with all different shades of gray! A light blouse over the gray skinny jeans, it flatters most body types yet not over the top. Throwing on a necklace and a scarf completes the look and makes me feel more polished. Yep, there are two pairs of shoes here, one is for the slippery New York sidewalks, one is for looking pretty when I reach the safe zones! The sunglasses actually make the sky look even grayer when I put them on, but it's a nice touch, don't you think? It definitely ups the glam meter for me!!
